Event Announcement: Nepal Festival Adelaide 2025

We are thrilled to announce our highly anticipated signature event, the Nepal Festival Adelaide 2025, organised by the NRNA SA State Coordination Council! Mark your calendars for Sunday, March 9, 2025.

The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Australia represents the vibrant Nepalese community living in Australia. As a not-for-profit organisation, we are dedicated to promoting Nepali culture and heritage while fostering goodwill between Australia and Nepal.

The Nepalese community in Australia is one of the fastest-growing culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) groups, with over 200,000 people of Nepalese origin calling Australia home. Our aim is to showcase this rich cultural heritage and its contributions to multicultural Australia.

Objectives of Nepal Festival Adelaide 2025:

• Showcase Nepal and its rich culture
• Preserve Nepali traditions within the South Australian community
• Unite Nepali communities
• Promote internal and external tourism

Having successfully organised four festivals since 2015, we are excited to host the fifth edition this year. The previous festivals have seen attendance soar, with around 15,000 people joining us in 2023. This year, we expect over 20,000 attendees, including NRNA stakeholders and community leaders from across the country.
